Got out on Pool 2 this afternoon. First time on the river since last December; first time I’ve picked up a spinning rod instead of a fly rod since early June! So you can probably guess I didn’t knock ’em dead.
Water temp was 52-54 degrees and the clarity wasn’t bad. Not too much junk coming down river either.
I never found a Walleye, did manage to catch a Sheepie, the first Crappie I’ve ever caught in Pool 2, and a huge White Bass. I threw a variety of baits and got all my action on Paddletails.
Best part of the day was running into Jake H and Calvin.
