With the winter spearing whats everyones guess about the open water big Pike population. Make any sense to troll or will that be a waste of time?

It is my opinion that the spear chuckers took many, many northern pike over 38″ this last winter. I hope I am wrong, but I think that they put a pretty good dent in that year class. The smaller 25″ to 35″ fish should have less competition and may bite good. It would be worth a shot to give it a try.
