Crappies on tonka

    Hey, I’m trying to get out tomorrow, wondering what bay the crappies are biting in on tonka or other lakes in the area. any help appreciated, thanks eek lol

    Last week before it got a little cold again, I Heard a few of the NW side shallower lakes like Seton, emerald, and Black lakes had some fish going.

    Main lake weed edges 5-10ft, to cold yet they are still staging is what we found. Yes you will still get a few shallow but the bigger ones are hanging in the weeds.

    Crappies are still not shallow. As bigcrappie stated look deeper towards 10 feet. Bluegills are shallow though.

    Near record early ice out and the panfish still aren’t shallow. Tells you how cold and rainy and windy its been since early March when the ice was gone…

    Heard the bite has been pretty hot on Tonka for crappies. With biggens being caught.
