Onaman Lake is the premier big walleye lake in Ontario. You can’t go anywhere else in Canada and consistently catch average 22 inch walleyes day in and day out. And 22 inches is only an average. It’s not uncommon to get multiple fish in the 25” to 27” range. Not only are these fish long, they are also girthy and with Onaman’s shallow waters, the fight is on when a hog slams your hook, be it a jig’n minnow or shallow running crank.
