Paddletails

Do-It released a couple new molds a week ago and mine arrived this morning. Both are paddletail baits, one 1.5″ and the other 2.5″. I’ve been fishing proto-types of both baits all fall with success.

The crappies in and around pool 4’s backwwaters have liked the smaller of the two and I am confident that next spring the fish will be equally impressed with them. The 1.5″ bait will work under ice on crappies too. Crappies to 13 inches have been taken on this guy.

The 2.5″ bait is very similar to the bait that Evert’s had when Dean was there and this one too takes walleye as well as crappies and smallies.

They’re nice baits bot in action and in size ranges. With both molds in hand I can start to play with colors, then watch out.

Oooh, ooh. I want some of those black (motor oil) with chartreuse tail!

Those are a dark purple Bud.
