Is Malwarebytes compatible with MAC? Free download works awesome for me.
^^ I think so. Malwarebytes would be my first try.
What’s it doing Francisco?

To start with, I have not changed any settings. I am still running Safari. I am getting Pop-Ups galore. The short of it is, they are saying that I have spyware and that the security of my computer is at risk.

try this app first: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/clamxav/id430207028?mt=12
Its free and has some good reviews.
Could also try this: Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac however it is a pay to play.
Unfortunatly Malwarebyes does not make a Mac OS install….yet, only windows based.
Stay away from this app: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3691
Sounds like you need Adblock. Do a search for Adblock for
mac or Safari. It helped on windows.
As far as I know there shouldn’t be any popup ads showing on IDO. If are seeing them here it may be from a tool bar add on to your browser. I have a ultrabook for when ever I need to be mobile and my wife borrowed it not to long ago. I opened it up the other day to test in IE and seen ads here that shouldn’t have been. (jumped to the conclusion that the site had been exploited – was just my laptop lol) Also may have given James a heart attack when I left a voice mail.
I really dislike windows – feel dirty every time I use it. lol
Update:
I slowly went through my OS and Extensions that were on Safari and Chrome. I found a few that looked suspicious and decided to get rid of all the extensions. I also updated to the newest OS for Mac. It has been a week and everything seems to to be running smooth, fast, and with out the aforementioned Pop-Ups.
Dave, I never thought it was an IDO website issue.
Thanks,
FDR
