Guys…
I haven’t been out on the river or Pepin for a couple of weeks. But tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon I hope to rush up to Pepin/Lake City quick for about 4 hours. Mainly this is a test run to see if some “tweaks” to my outboard have solved a problem I was having. But…if I’m gonna be on the water anyway, figured I might as well try to find some eyes if possible.
Ideally I’d probably normally head further north toward Red Wing, but I’ve got limited time and Pepin is closer. So…any reports/tips from last few days on Pepin? I saw the all-knowing BK said something about jig and crawlers in less than 10 feet? But maybe he was referring to those whisker fish he likes.
