I’m trying to put together a list of the top 50 walleye lakes in the USA. I thought asking for your top 50 was a little excessive so I went with 10. So, what do you think are the top walleye lakes in the USA? Thanks to all willing to share…

July 15, 2005 at 6:00 pm #373212That river is probably the best, but I think Wade was looking for lakes only??
July 15, 2005 at 9:35 pm #373260Rivers are okay too. I’m looking for the best walleye waters in the USA (but my primary focus would be lakes). I’d like to eventually get a more regionalized perspective. I may have to break it down to the top 8-10 walleye waters in each region (maybe I should use the college football conferences as my regional boundaries, or something that’s similar). I know of several very good lakes in Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas that aren’t getting much mention but I expect to see more MN,WI waters listed here at IDA. I’ve also seen the pics of those big girls from out in Washington state! There’s a nice eye or two out there…
Keep ’em coming. Thanks!

Mississippi
Rainy River
Leech (used to be great)
Minnetonka (I’ve caught a lot of nice ‘eyes in Tonka)
