The post about Trigger X reminded me of my quest for baggies that can stand up to plastics. Most you buy in the store will let the gunk melt threw them, even the thicker ones. I think its a reaction to petroleum products but not 100% sure. What kind and where can I get bags that I can use for summer and winter plastics? I want clear ones because most of the ones lures come in are not see threw. Anybody out there a plastic bag guru?

It’s a reaction to the plasticizer that is used to keep the baits soft.

    That’s interesting.
In all my years of fishing, I’ve yet to see any plastic lure eat its way through a plastic bag.
They’ve eaten through plenty of plastic inside a tackle box but never a baggie.

There are a lot of sources for lure bags made from heavier plastic and with heavier zip-seal components made specifically for plastic storage. Netcraft and Barlows carry them. Lots of sizes. If anyone remembers the bags that Dean had his plastics in for the shop’s hooks, these are the same bags.
