Fishing Reports-Trout, Bass, walleye’s etc…

The fishing has continued to be pretty solid so far this fall, finishing up the fall king bite which was a few weeks behind this year, fish are still being caught but the peak was last week. The best baits have been skein as of lately.

Smallies are going good for us on Geneva, Mendota and a few other lakes, Mainly using jigging spoons, cranks and jigs but live bait is also very effective. and the muskies bite has been solid for me, on Fantoms, bull dawgs, cowgirls and suckers.

Hard to believe it’s almost deer hunting time already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here’s a few recent video’s I just posted.

Also made it up to may favorite place in the world the U.P. fishing waters I’m sure never see another boat all year, for me I love to get out and fish new area’s new waters and do some exploring. Many times you end up with nothing and other times you find a gold mine and over the 30+ years of fishing up there I’ve been very fortunate to stumble across some awesome fishing!

This trip was very good again for some GIANT smallies and I mean very big along with many nice eyes, lots of crappies, and my new favorite fish of the north spawning splake, these have to be the most beautiful fish I’ve ever seen in my life, wow do they fight and wow are they awesome to eat!

Found a bunch of spawning splake that was just incredible, I also caught a beautiful male that I’m going to get mounted. Splake are a mix of lakers and brookies and get as big as middle “teens” but most of our fish were 3-7 lbs.

We also caught some lakers and lots of them in the 3-7 lb class cast after cast but my camera was dead with battery issues.

Never saw another boats this past week anywhere we fished.

Good Times!!
