Pool 10 Fall is here !!!

There has been some great fishing lately on Pool 10

The weather has been fantastic and the fishing has been fun as well !!!

Between casting, trolling and jigging we were putting all sorts of fish in the boat… Crazy hos the pike have moved out of the cooler water areas of the summer haunts to the current buffet tables of the Mississippi River

For several years I have not caught the arm wrenching sheepies that run the river bottoms, but this year has been back to normal.. Multiple sheep outings are the norm again and I love the fight these fish have… When I say “The Tug is the Drug” this in one of those fish that fuel my desire !!

Dropped the handline gear and worked the river channel. I like to run the Rapala J-7’s and follow the break lines of the river channel this time of year looking for eyes moving up stream for the fall.. No matter if your in 8 feet or 18 feet of water, if your keeping your offering on the break your will find walleyes this time of year !!!

Fall is here and winter is coming.. No matter what time of year it is…
