I had three Jakes come in at 10 yards. I’ve never taken one with a bow so I figured now was the time. Hopefully I can get one of the boys one of the toms that I saw.

Had two Toms circle behind me after a single, unprompted gobble. They never responded to my calls and disappeared over the hill.

Ended up going by my son but he couldn’t get a shot. Ignored his decoys and kept walking.

The FG makes an amazing morel gravy. We put that on venison steaks along with fresh wild asparagus. All three taken from the farm. My favorite spring meal.

Thank you for the offer. I’m going to just stick with carpet right now until I redo it all. I’m only redoing a small back deck at the moment to fix some rotten wood. The previous owner had the live well spray bar directed up and running against the unfinished wood.

Reviving this thread. I need to redo the rear deck on my boat. Was going to use carpet like the rest of it but interested in what Cody did. I can check out YouTube later, but what do you do on the edges of the wood? Does it just wrap around or is there an endcap piece you can buy?

My niece shoots for Champlin’s middle school team. She is an 8th grader. She shot a 274 this morning. Beat her previous best by 17 points.

My step son shot a 282 yesterday.

I also help coach. It’s a lot of fun.
