    Anyone fishing West Newton ? Any reports ?

    I have heard fish are biting, but they are small. It’s nice to keep busy, but you usually want some perch, crappies, & sunnies for the pan. Who knows how soon the big boys will settle in?

    It has been 3-4 years since I have heard of any bigger fish coming outta there or halfmoon

    But it is always fun to try and find them.

    With the lower water levels this season the larger fish may not come into the landing area at all on Half Moon. Wilcox has been putting out a few fish. The Wabasha Marina is popping a few too. Better quality in the marina now and for a while yet.
