They are fishing the bays on Sakakawea. Oahe has open water in spots, but there is snow on the ground.

Almost no info out there so I’m thinking it’s not that crowded like lake of the woods. Thinking of a trip the first few days in March. What section of the lake would be best for big pike? I found a place to rent down by cow creek. Looks like a good area with a few big creek arms but wasn’t sure how it froze being closer to the dam on the south end by Pierre. Does it freeze better north?
