Does anyone have updates on lakes with ice-out? Please share
I drove around Green Lake near Chisago today and I’d say it’s very close. Lots of water and the remaining ice was black and looked thin.

I drove around Green Lake near Chisago today and I’d say it’s very close. Lots of water and the remaining ice was black and looked thin.
According to the DNR ice out map just a few south of the metro, but that is only once it gets reported. Like Matt said I’m sure some on the south end of the state.

I went down there yesterday. The ramp is super F’d. The asphalt is all pushed up and not useable, fyi
Faribault lakes are open. I saw someone out fishing on Saturday. Ice was gone by Thursday morning.
Fish Lake in Maple Grove went out today. Was hilarious to see a house with their dock out already. Taking full advantage by not wasting a single day of open water season. I like it.

My wife sent me a pic around noon and said Fish was close. I came home at 3:30, and it was clear and that guy was putting his dock in.
I was in the bay on Koronis today. Had to dodge a lot of ice chunks floating down.
Official ice out on our lake near Spooner, WI happened this morning in front of my eyes.
Would love to see one, been out shortly after one, the sound of it is so cool, sounds like floating glass in the waves
Tim your right I absolutely love that sound. I even park the car at night to hear it.
there was a fair amount of open water on Schneider lake by Cold Spring this afternoon…..more importantly…..a pair of loons wherein that open water!!!!!!
Little Rock is open. People have started fishing by the old kings inn off hwy 10
Waconia is open, still some ice floating around but mostly clear by the sounds of it.
Most lakes just west of the metro are at least 50% open. A little wind and rain and there will be a lot of open water by the end of the week.

Open water is moving farther north every day.
The flooding has opened up LQP. Big Stone still has a substantial sheet of ice on it even with all the flooding going on over there.
They declared ice out on Lake Minnetonka today. 5 days behind average.
The narrows around Zorbaz on Gull are open. Majority of the chain still has ice
