Never used Mapping before

    I have an Helix 12 mega unit and have never use Mapping, What do I need to get started mapping a lake and Transferring it to my PC

    I’d suggest just going to the Humminbird website and searching AutoChart Live. There is a ton of detail on there, but if you plan to put this on your PC, it looks like you will need a zero lines card because otherwise it will store it locally on the GPS unit which has limited capacity.

    To learn break this into two different parts. Using autochart live on the head unit and mapping is one thing.

    If you want to bring data to your pc and make maps that’s a very different animal. That’s their autochart product and purchased separately.
