Hey guys. I am heading down douth to the Courtland/Nicollet area for some cats. I was wondering what is producing for you guys right now for channels. Are you fishing structure, current, slack water, depth etc.??
I am just trying to narrow down a few spots right now for the best luck. I am trying get a newbie on some fish as well so that she catches the bug!
Any help would be great!
I’d loove to help but I haven’t been that way in a while. 
I am not looking for specific spots, just what type of area/bait has been producing. I plan on doing a little seining for bait early in the day, so we should have lots of shiners to use as cut bait. They work 2nd only to shad in my opinion. I always like to use native bait fish when I can!

Whats been working for channels? They are being caught in all parts of the river Deep, shallow, wood (I wish I could give you a specific but there isn’t one at this time. If your not getting bit inside of 20mn relocate your bait.
