is your Marcum LX-6 gauge cluster text partially cutoff the screen?

    When setup to display the gauge cluster on the bottom of the screen, I noticed that the gauge cluster text is partially cutoff from the screen when looking at straight on, the full text display only becomes visible if looking almost directly down on the display from overhead? If fishing over the hole this isn’t an issue, but when sitting, the text gets cut off…

    is this just an LX6 thing or something specific to my LX6? Marcum’s LX6s website images show the same space gap for the gauges that the LX7 has…

    You should be able to adjust the entire head unit to change the viewing angle to suit your needs. I can understand that moving from a sitting position to a standing position, would alter your viewing angle and thus may required a similar change in the screen angle, to obtain full view, if it bothers you.

    yep, and I figured the LX-6 screen space would be much more limited than the lx-7, but when looking at marcum’s own product images, the LX-6 screenshots with gauges shown on the bottom looked identical to the LX-7 so I was curious if something was off on mine.

    Did you try a factory reset and see if that helps

    My LX6 shows all the gauges full text like they should…..

    Mine does the same thing, I just live with it.

    Mine does the same thing as well,sounds like that is normal based on the above comments. Never bothered me. I never use the gauge display either as it takes up space on my screen.

    Can other LX-6 owners post pictures of your screen with the guages displayed? I’m curious if mine is an actual issue or if all LX-6 screens look this way?

    Depends on your screen angle. I typically use graph and vertical zoom. My gauges display on the right if I choose to display them which is seldom.

    I appreciate you posting some screenshots, I still might bring it to Marcum to have them inspect it. I’ll report back what they tell me.

    I contacted Marcum about this same thing which at first i thought was an issue and they told me this was normal…for what its worth.

    i’m getting more used to it as on the ice the angle works well
