March 9, 2007 at 8:57 pm #547026I just picked up a one man last night. If your fishing alone alot, get the one man.
March 9, 2007 at 10:05 pm #547053Then you have to consider the weight of the X2. Will your boy be able to help you load and unload it? The X Trap is probably the strongest built portable on the market. It’s very tought and can really take a beating in strong winds. If you dont mind the weight, you’ll be really happy with it. I’ve seen some really good deals around here as well.
March 9, 2007 at 10:27 pm #547060The weight is definitely an issue , but I think we can work with that. We have a Yukon now and want to move to the Voyager , but found an X worth the money. Actually its not that much heavier than the Voyager. I even have until first ice to pay for it !!!
Thanks for the input.
March 9, 2007 at 11:09 pm #547083Empty, the X Trap weighs 120#, the X2 145#. Its really not a big deal empty, its when I got the heater, the Auger, the tackle boxs, the buckets of gear and so on, that it gets heavy.

March 9, 2007 at 11:50 pm #547091Thats what I was thinking…… 2 Vexs , Aqua View , Heater LP…..Thats what gets heavy !!!! Still a nice shack
March 10, 2007 at 1:04 am #547102I love my X2 and will be having hernia surgery on
the 15th. It pops her out pretty good on those solo
missions.
If your heading north at all you might want to look at this
one: X2 for saleAll the accoutrements and already assembled!!
“Usual” retail for this one would be over $800.00.
X2 650.00 Cover 50.00 Hitch 50.00 Runners 50.00.
plus tax!
$550.00 for all that is a steal. What kind of price are you getting down there??
