How to follow contour w/ Helix 7 G3N, Terrova w/ ipilot link, Lakemaster chip

    I’m new to all 3 of these things and have them set up now; bow mounted Terrova on own battery, Hummingbird to own battery, Lakemaster chip in Helix. I went out on the water, the lake was listed, but can’t seem to find “follow the contour” anywhere on my Helix. I think I might be missing a syncing step after putting in the Lakemaster chip or some other tech step?

    If that’s the case, can I do this in my garage through the simulator setting or do I need to be on the water?

    Jason and Doug are “THE” experts on the Humminbird Link systems!
    Whether you have the Core series, Helix or Solix units they all function virtually the same on this subject. Minn Kota is the originator of the “Link” system.

    Thanks for the links Denny! I just bought my first networked boat and this we be a lot of help to me.
