Black Birch lake canadian fly-in?

    Anybody ever fished blackbirch lake in canada. I am going in august and am looking for some tips and tricks

    First tip that came to mind start eating garlic tablets to keep those bugs off your body and pack some good DEET!

    I’ve not had any problems with bugs in Canada. At least not any worse than sitting on my patio at dusk. Yes, plenty of skeeters, no see ums, black flies, etc. Nothing to keep me from going back every year for 15 years though.
