I am about to buy a new prop, and am looking at the Powertech OSN. Can anyone tell me if this is a decent prop? Is there another prop you would recommend?

Yah powertech makes some of the best mid size gearcase props out there, but the question is what are you running for a motor, boat, wot rpms and current prop size?

Well, here is what I am running…

    ’09 Navigator sport 175
    ’09 Suzuki DF140
    13 1/4 x 21 prop alum

The prop guy said that the Suzuki runs best with a 14 diameter prop – says they come stock with them. He set me up with the Powertech ONS 14×19.

Currently with the rig, I am at 6200 rpm at WOT.

I have a 04 175 Navigator with 135 opti–running a 19 pitch powertech stainless and more than happy with the performance. Running between 5400 and 5500 at WOT, which is at the top of my powerband. good prop for the money.
