So I knocked about an inch off one blade of my aluminum prop at the launch the other day. Yay. I’m wondering if its worth bringing to a repair shop or if itd be cheaper to buy a new one at $120. Other than the tip missing its in fine shape, still has all the paint on the leading edge.

May 27, 2009 at 3:44 pm #779537I go through quite a few props and I use Better Products in Bloomington. It is a small shop and takes the guy a week or so but his price is usually $35 to $40 to rebuild my prop. I know some people have had problems with this place but they have always treated me right. The place is right off Lyndale on 90th street right beside the rail road tracks.
