Thought this would be interesting to see if IDA can come up with the answer before the boat shop does.

2000 Opti 135 approximatley 138 hours. 4 weeks ago was fishing ran great loaded boat went home. The next weekend went out as soon as it started it was missing. Didn`t matter what speed missed all day never ran 100%. Could smell gas when ever the boat stopped but no fuel leaks. Put new NGK`s in and new fuel filter. I allways run Seafoam 100% of the time. Went out two weeks later still missing at all speeds, could smell gas when ever boat stopped.

I am guessing maybe crankshaft sensor. They usually either work or they don`t but I have run into some that work intermittently.

Boat goes in Oct. 30, any one want to take a shot and I will post results here.

Bad fuel pump?, leaking fuel line/s sucking air, bad gas?

My guess would be a bad injector. <*)}}}><

My buddy had the same problem with his Opti 135. His was a spark plug problem. Since you replaced the plugs, I’m going to guess bad plug wire.
