Early Ice Update – Leech Lake

    Early ice Walleyes and Perch have been hot so far on the main lake of Leech and Walker Bay. I fished three totally different spots in the bay tonight from 11-28 f.o.w. and found uber-aggressive ‘eyes on each one. Fish are hammering a ripped spoon without hesitation. Ice on the bay is 8″ everywhere I have been and I have seen 10″-12″ on the east and west ends of the big lake. Please be safe and check as you go.

    Wish we had some ice here just bought a vexilar because my Marcum quit me already and I’m thinking were never going to get on the hard water anyway nice fish and best of luck this season
