Crappies/Perch

I fished bowstring 2 weeks ago and caught some realy nice perch but not many crappies. anyone else have any luck ?

I was there last weekend and the lake was full of people with not much happening. No crappies for me and a few little perch and a couple snakes. I did get a nice 19″ walleye right before dark snapped a pic and back he went.

I was amazed how fast the snow cover went from a couple feet to nothing in 2 weeks.

How’s the ice up there? Do you need an extension for the power augers?

I have some friends and relatives headed that way this coming weekend.

They’ll be hitting Bowstring, Blackduck and Round lake. Any reports would be appreciated.
