    Anyone know if Bay Point is still open?

    By the look of Everett’s post this morning, I’d say it’s iced over. I hear there are two reactors shut down at the plant, so we aren’t seeing the warm discharge upstream of the dam at this point.

    The river will look very different with both reactors shut down until at the earliest January. Accessing a lot of the popular cold weather, open water areas on Pool 4 will be very different as well.

    Fished by there today, there was somebody in the bay fishing on the ice with a pop up so…..

    Bay Point is back open for now, launched there today.
