    Yep. Best year ever and we have been going since it opened in ought six.
    The action was so fast I wouldn’t want to do it more than once a year honestly.
    The fish were very forgiving of colors so everything worked and they were spread out so far and wide we never lost touch with fish or went without a bite long enough to be concerned. Ever. Our miles of area was THE SPOT with the occasional SPOT ON SPOT. It was crazy. The repetition can get boring though. SOOOO many fish from 16-19. Very few below and quite a few above. AND everyone could keep 5!
    Ate a lot of delicious fish. Sharing a meal with my wife tonight!!

    This was my first year fishing red on opener or open water. I tried to find something I couldn’t catch a walleye on Sunday. A beetle spin and spinner bait put fish in the boat. Along with your typical walleye tactics.
