Door County Walleye’s and Pike

Fishing the east shore (Door County)now the past 10 days and the bite has been fantastic. Fish are still spawning and finishing up the spawn. So plenty of big girls hanging around the shallows to be caught. Trolling is yielding most big fish although casting in spots with stick baits and jigs with gulp is also working. Best luck for the eyes are the reefs islands and shoreline for big fish and stay aweay from the crowds……. rarely ever see another boat!

The pike bite was also great with some big pre spawners still all caught with gulp on darter heads or snap jigging minnows and jerk baits. best depth for the pike were 4-25 feet depedning on the spots we fished.

This will be my last week in green bay until next spring, what a fantastic fishery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
