Trolling up walleyes on Lake Puckaway.

Well its been a busy last 5 days on the lake trolling cranks. Lake Puckaway is about 5 to 6 feet deep in the middle of the basin , depending on the rain fall. Lately the lake is coming back up every day with the storms coming through the area.

Last week and this week have been some great fishing trolling on the main lake with flicker shads and cleos. Running 3 boards on each side of the boat and it been all 3 guys can handle at once at times. The fish are on fire , we are getting walleyes, northerns, crappies, catfish and even perch on the cranks as well. Number 5,s are doing the best for us the last couple of weeks in blue and purple seem to be the hot colors.

The sister in-law made it over for a couple of day for the wifes birthday and we got out fishing between the rain storms as well. WQe did some trolling on the pontoon that has a canopy to stay a little dryer out there . We had a great time for the afternoon and got some nice fish as well. Its been a great 2 weeks of fishing with all the rain coming in everyday it will last for a long time. It was hard to get some nice pics. while fishing because it was such a fast bite lately.
