Lake Puckaway bluegill report 5 -20-13

My folks, Henry and June came up to do some panfishing off my peir for the afternoon. They are both in their middle 80,s and still love to fish when they can. I called them to come up and try for the gills. They set up the poles with plain hooks and bobbers. The bait of choice was peices of night crawlers on gold hook for the panfish.

They fished the old fashioned way with bobber and night crawlers and had a great day. Kept enough for a couple of meals and we had they had a blast while the wife and I put our garden in for the summer. They got one nice crappie and some bass as well. Good to see them fishing again.

Sorry for the short report but they did all the fishing and I took pictures from the day. Great job Mom and Dad.

Some days it’s easier to appreciate those around you compared to when your concentrating on the rod in your hand. Nice batch of pannies!
