Any P2 reports??

    Anybody been down this weekend? How’s the levels and clarity? Thinking about hitting it for a few hours tomm. Morning. Also is hidden falls good to go yet? Thanks!

    Out for 7 hours Sat and a short trip today. Fishing the 494 to airport area. The water is not too dirty, current is picking up fast. There were many main channel areas and wingdams that were fishable, just no fish. Move off channel – find some slack water and we got bit. Nothing big. White bass, small pike and walleye.

    You should be ok for tomorrow, but things are changing fast.

    I was done there yesterday and put in at hidden falls. The ramp had a ledge of ice (12-16″) you had to back off of when i got there but was almost gone when i loaded up to leave. Tough bite for me and everyone i talked to.

    Pretty slow from what I have seen over the weekend to. There where decent numbers of small fish biting early last week. Ended up boating one decent walleye over the weekend and a huge paddle fish. Water levels where coming up fast over the weekend but for some reason I dont think levels are going to get as high as predicted this week.

    Where’s the pic of the paddle fish. I didnt know they made it up past pool 3. Never caught one but I bet its a good fight. Still haven’t got out since my motor crapped out. I cant get my flywheel off and I’ve been moving this week so that has kept me very busy. Now Im an hour away from pool 2 so my days out there are going to be numbered but I work close so I will still get out. I’ll just have to do more bass fishin.

    Pic is still on the camara card. I’ll try to get it posted here before too long. It was obviously snagged. I’d guess the weight at over 30#. First paddlefish I’ve seen up here.

    Paddlefish was cool, but I wish I knew where all the P2 walleyes are at! I’ve spent a lot of time looking for them since it opened up, and with the exception of a handful of fish I’ve had my butt handed to me. I think we need another tracking study.:p

    I have fished pool 2 twice in the last week. Not much happening yet up from hidden falls. I have heard of some walleyes being caught by pike island. It shouldn’t be long before the fishing gets really good.

    Been on there several times nothing photo worthy all small
