Portable Helix 7 power cable

It was bound to happen, surprised it took this long. My negative wire on my helix power cable broke right at the female plug. Replacements do exist, but an online search finds ebay being the only place they’re not backordered and I’d likely not have it for opener next week. I assume I can just attach a standard female connector and heat shrink it to get by? It’s a pretty delicate wire. Johnson outdoors site is not working well on my phone but they may have one I can get quicker. I gotta think their refurb shop in Mankato has these?

I can’t really tell for sure by the pictures but you should be able to take that plug thing apart and reconnect it. I have a cord I use in my side by side that I cut and put a cigarette lighter plug on the end and that works well too if that would be an option for you. I don’t know about that exact cord but just regular ones are pretty common on the shelf items around here and then you can just put whatever ends you want on them.
