Hi, Steve & Kari! I hope you don’t mind, but I said some nice things about you. I was returning from Springfield (MN) after visiting mom on Mother’s Day, and stopped near Sleepy Eye Lake to talk with a family enjoying the afternoon fishing. They were from Winthrop, formerly from Rochester, and asked if I knew any place they could stay & fish on the Mississippi. They have fished the area before, but were looking for a good access & information center, long with a possible place to stay. I told them to call you, and find your website, and see what they thought. I didn’t even catch their names, but they looked like a nice family that wanted to fish. I figured they would learn more from you and your (sometimes questionable looking) clientele and enjoy the trip. Just thought I would give you a heads up. How is the Spring treating you guys, otherwise?

We do our best to put you guys on the fish, been biting here pretty good this week. Variety of walleye, sauger and white bass right now.
