Helix software update issues

    Downloaded the software update to the micro chip. Restored settings to “default”. Inserted the chip. Nothing happens. It’s supposed to automatically recognize the chip and start the transfer. Nothing happens. Thoughts.

    SD card should be formatted in FAT32 and be 32gb in size or less, also make sure just the single humminbird file is on the root of the drive (not inside a folder)

    It’s a 8 gb chip. Not sure what FAT 32 means.

    We got it. Had the wrong unit punched in. Was missing the Di portion. Thanks.

    Only as a suggestion for future updates; skip the SD card and down loads by getting the FishSmart app and load the latest version via Bluetooth. It’s slick.
