Good rainbow and lake trout lakes that you have gone to.

    Hello i am a big time trout fishing person. i get into it a couple years ago and i try and go as much as i can. i only know a couple lakes and so i thought id see if anyone would point me in the directions to some good lakes.

    Throw a dart at most any lake in the BWCA and Canada.

    On the serious side, I would try the Cuyuna area mine pits.

    They are all walk outs this time of the year, but most of them are fairly accessible.

    They are stocked by the MN DNR with trout.

    Due to my health I haven’t been out there this year.
