    Fluid film?
Pressure wash underneath and all before you put it on?
I wash my regularly and wax about 3 times per year. HATE rust but it starts from the side of what I can see as I’m waxing so the fluid film might be an answer.

Just do the tranny cooler before that craps the bed while your headed to the lake. That’s the on complaint I see of the 19s and 20s

That is mostly happening to the trucks in the south that tow a lot of miles with big campers and the ones that tow in the mountains. I do neither. My camper is close to 5000lbs but towed on flat ground and much cooler temps. They also eat batteries like crazy while I am still on my original 2020 stock battery.

Did realize the tundra 5.7 got the same milage a 3500 gasser gets.

It’s bad, very bad. I know guys with the new 6.6 getting over 20 unloaded in a 1 ton.

I find that hard to believe. The best I ever got in my 6.6 1 ton is 16.2.
    I went from a chevy 1500 to a 3500. There isn’t a 1/2 ton that doesn’t have problems or has a under powered motor.

Maybe so, but he isn’t much of a fisherman and drives like an old lady so he doesn’t exaggerate much. He relies on me to put the boat in the right spot for him to catch fish. Sorry I didn’t run the calculator for him to make sure he wasn’t stretching the truth. I’ll do better next time. 2 of the guys I know with the new 6.6 gas switched from diesel and said their mileage is way better and they never have to deal with def. The guy with the 1 ton had a half ton 5.3 before this and needed to plow his driveway. I was like for crying out loud you could use a Ford Maverick to plow your driveway or even a Ridgeline.

    Sure glad I have a Ram…

Yeah, I have a RAM 1500 too and I like it but just got mine back today after having to replace both front wheel bearings with less that 100k miles on it and I baby it.
