Patch Motel & Izzy’s Fish house rental

Anyone have any winter fishing experience with these folks?

I don’t have any experience ice fishing but my father in laws buddy is friends with Izzy Marvin – the owner of the motel and fish house business. When I stayed at his cabin on Lake of the Woods during the summer 2 yeas ago he said they catch nice fish through the ice and had pictures to show. It seemed like they had a good business and treated their customers great. They bring you to the heated fish house, come get you at dark because they say you will not catch anything after dark. Then you can go to the bar for soem food and drinks and sleep in a nice bed and go back fishing in the morning. If you make the trip please shoot me a PM with the report when you get back. Every year I have been thinking about going through them for ice fishing.
