Just got my letter in the mail today and I am sure someone her can give me more details but is this truly 1200 bucks (joint filler) money I can use in the economy or is it an advance on my 2008 tax return? I am in the camp that there is no free lunch so I am thinking I basically have to make sure I do not spend this money since each year I come out on my taxes as not owing or having to pay more. So I am thinking this is just money I have to account or next year.
