Clarence called yesterday to see if I wanted to go shooting….I told him Bring his 30-30 and We’ll get Dan.. My Son..To shoot as it sounds like we’re deer hunting this year. Anyway, He picked up this lever action 30-30 and after alittle instruction he loaded it up. Mind you he’s never shot a rifle with a scope. He took alot of time on his first couple shots. I told him…”a deer isn’t gonna wait 30 seconds for you to shoot it”. After that he aimed at the target and within 5-10 seconds,he was touching them off. Clarence had brought some targets of siloettes of human bodies and I told Dan to shoot at the head…Which he put 6 out of 6 in the head from 50 yards,3 for 3 from 75 yards in the head! Sweet…..Good enough! Good shootin there TEX!
