I saw a commercial for these. It looks like it is just a wrap that fits around the handle of your rod that you insert a chemical heating pad into.
It looks like a pretty good idea, what do you all think? Too clumsy? I would think that if it worked well, people would already be doing it.
I think I saw that same commercial last weekend. Intriguing idea….two thoughts…it would warm the palm side of your hand but not the back, and it would do a good job of cutting down on rod sensitivity, making it tough to feel those lite-biters.
I’ve seen rods at Fleet that have hollow handles with vent holes. Stick your heat pack in and the heat exits the vents. Dang good idea, but I wasn’t crazy about the rod.
