    If I launch at Treasure Island Casino what pool am I in?
    Would it be safe to leave my boat docked in the marina overnight? Do they even allow that? How far north or south can I go before hitting a lock?

    thanks for the help.

    The ramp is only about 1/4 or 1/2 mile north of the Redwing Dam. You would be in Pool 3.

    I would not leave my boat there overnight.

    About the only place I would be comfortable leaving a boat overnight would be Evert’s……….

    I agree with Gary. Its a long ways from the Hotel and casino. Probably a 10 min walk, or a short drive. They would let you for a fee I’m sure.

    Brian, If you were to put in at T.I. you would be about a 1/2 mile above lock @dam #3.(Redwing) You have got all of pool 3 up to Hastings which.. depending on motor sie could take you 10-20 Minutes to get up to Prescott. There is some quality fishing in pool 3.

    Briank;
    Maybe they do, but I’m just the type of guy that doesn’t like my boat to sit unattended too far from my eyes……

    TI does have security and if I remember correctly security cameras. When the RCL was there a bunch of the pros had slips there and no one had a problem…they may have had beefed up security for that though.
    Besides…once summer rolls around and they have all the big fancy river cruisers there people probably aren’t going to mess with a fishin boat when there is a $100k+ yacht parked in the next slip over.

    I hear ya Gary…but I have a smaller motor…I would just toss the 90 over my wife’s shoulder and keep it in the room…next to me…

    I was asking last fall about this very issue…I think there’s a shelter for a 24/7 secruity guard. Well, the wife wants to spend 3 to 5 days down there…and I plan on fishing all night and checking the bank account all day…which will determine how long we’re staying…
    I’ll let ya know if securities any good!

    They have an actual police department in PI now. I talked to a few of the lads. They will be keeping a close eye on things. Plus you have TI security checking the landings. I feel safer there than Plans, Hub’s or Prescott now!
