Fished Winni south end Saturday the 23rd. I fished Moses Bar only. Between 6:30 am and 1 pm I caught 8 fish between 19″ and 25″ but no eaters. I would have liked some eaters but you can’t complain when the big fish are on a tear. Most guys were fishing just off the bar in 30 feet but I was fishing the edges of the bar in about 16 feet. Six to eight foot lindy rigs with one red bead and a jumbo leech. It wasn’t just me, lots of guys were boating the big ones on Saturday. These were energetic, fiesty fish ready to fight. Had a couple get close to the boat only to decide to go for another run.
