ESPN was sad once the T-Pups eliminated the Lakers and now they are drooling over this series matchup. Will be funny to see if they pick the Wolves to lose again.

Kevin Harlan is the best and I miss when he was the T Wolves play by play. Richard Jefferson use to play with Lebron so its not shocking all the love he gives the Lakers and Doris Burke just sucks.

205k people went to the draft, and heard hotels were full all the way to Milwaukee. Maybe I’m just old and crotchety but you couldn’t pay me to go to that mess. Looked like Times Square, but all drunk rubes.

It looked cool to see all those people there for the draft but not for me. That would be my personal hell to stand in a giant crowd for hours and listen to players get drafted that most people have never heard of.

So after all of the percentages practically guaranteeing the Wild would make the playoffs, it came down to a pulled goalie game tying goal with 20 seconds left in the 3rd period of game 82….

I was looking at the Athletic this morning about that and damn that would of sucked! Calgary and the Blue sure got hot at the end of the season.

    R1:
    Wild over Knights in 7
    Jets over Blues in 6
    Avs over Dallas in 5
Oilers over the Kings in 7
    Leafs over Sens in 5
    Panthers over Lightning in 5
    Capitals over Canadiens in 5
    Canes over Devils in 5
    R2:
Wild over the Oilers in 7
Jets over the Avs in 7
    Panthers over Leafs in 6
Capitals over the Canes in 6
    R3:
Jets over the Wild in 5
Panthers over the Capitals in 7
    Cup:
Jets over the Panthers in 7

Mine is pretty much the same as Joe’s above but I think the Jets take the cup and end Canadas drought on a team from there winning the cup.

For the Wild I think they either get beat by Vegas in 5 games or they take them to 7 and win it. Boldy is gonna have to be on for them to beat Vegas. If the Wild lose the first 2 games in Vegas I bet we see Buium’s debut in game 3 at home.

    Buium – Bogo

Buium probably isnt seeing the ice this playoffs unless there is an injury right?

I would fly into Vegas Friday, attend Wrestlemania Saturday and Sunday, attend the Wild playoff games, and then attend the ACDC show next Saturday in Vegas.

Now that would be a hell of a trip! If I didnt have family coming over for Easter I’d be looking at flights right now rather than typing this haha!

I’m glad others have mentioned about JoJo recent play because I was scared to say he has looked lately. Last night he looked like he had an extra gear and was out skating a lot of guys.

I’ll admit I had some terrible thoughts going through my head in the last 2 minutes of the game. Don’t even want to think about it haha and now onto Vegas. Really wish this Sunday wasnt Easter to try and see if I could get tickets for down there.

yeah im not sure about this match up either. Luka destroyed the T Pups last year and Lebron will kick it in to high gear as well now the playoffs are here.

Morikawa is also someone to watch out for. Would love to attend this event some day. Golf tournaments are actually a lot of fun and cant wait for the Ryder Cup to come back.

They better do it quick before A-Roid moves them to Seattle or Vegas.

They arent moving the team because the NBA wants an expansion team not to relocate a team. Also I believe its more lucrative for an owner to start an expansion team and penalties for moving a team now.

I was in the same boat when I heard they wanted to buy the T Pups but if you look into it there is a very small chance they move them.

I’m also a cast iron devotee, although I did some ribeyes on charcoal recently that I’d put up against any of my cast iron work. Cast iron is just so much more consistent imo. And respect on the Sirloin, one of the most underrated cuts out there imho! Especially if it’s ‘Berta Beef…

That steak looks damn good! I was also taught that you can only grill steaks on a grill growing up. I would highly recommend doing a reverse sear on a steak next time.

I use my smoker and get the steak to around 110 to 115 and then sear on a cast iron pan or on my weber. Sure it seems like a lot of work but I love the flavor the smoker gives and then getting that charcoal sear or butter sear in a cast iron pan.

In the morning’s I listen to KFAN or 93X and through out the work day I have KFAN on for background noise. 93X morning show is still good but I miss some of their bits they use to do.

While driving I listen to the country stations on XM radio.

I tried a new recipe last night and my first successful one from a TikTak video!

I saw this from an Instagram video and made it last week. Very good and simple to make. We added some fresh basil with ours.

It’s not really a big deal to buy stuff in Canada rather than bring it over from the US with how far the US dollar goes in Canada right?

I went to Toronto last fall and we went to the Hockey Hall of fame (which gave me chills to see the Cup) I remember looking at my bank account and I was like hey everything is like at a discount over here with the exchange rate when we bought stuff.

Leber had a great point this morning on KFAN that if the Vikes bring in a veteran QB that they dont believe in JJ.

That is a terrible point, JJ is the only QB on roster and I highly doubt they are going to sign 2-3 rookies to back him up. Of course they will be signing at least one, probably 2-3 veteran QB’s.

He was getting at signing a Veteran Starter to start over JJ. Of course they need to sign a veteran QB that has been a backup over a bunch of rookies.

Rodgers will not come to the Vikes unless he is guaranteed to be the starter. The guy will force his way if they bench him.

I havent read Russo’s article yet about Billy G and his moves he has made during his tenure but yesterday on KFAN he sure went after him. He brought up a lot of questionable trades and signings. Surprising to hear him go after him but he had some good points. The last trade right now looks terrible.

I think the Packers over paid on Banks and Gutey is driving me nuts with how he will not pay a wide receiver or make a move for one.

Chase Young I think is back with the Saints already.

Deadpool and Wolverine quickly became my favorite movie and I definitely recommend it!

X2 on Deadpool and Wolverine! I first watched it on a plane ride and found myself laughing out loud. I had to rewatch when I got home to see the unedited version but its so good.

Thank you for me and for everyone! Without knowing her or her assignment I can all but guarantee she was underpaid and undersupported.

When she was teaching I would tell her all the time that I dont know how you or other teachers out there do it. When she meets up with old co-workers they all tell her how lucky she is that she got out of it.

I think we are going to have a huge problem soon with a teacher shortage. I have a buddy who was a teacher for over 10 years quit. I cant imagine trying to teach while little Jonny wants to check his phone in the middle of class.

My girlfriend use to be a high school teacher and she use to make her students put them in a pocket on the back of her class room door. She loved being a teacher but in todays world it was just too much for her and shes much happier now.

I’m in Software Sales and I love it but I know I dont want to be in Sales in my 50’s so I’ve been thinking already about my next transition. Since COVID I also work from home mostly but sometimes have to go into the office. It was funning when Covid first hit I was telling my boss that I would pay to go back into the office to work and now I want to pay to not go into the office. I get so much more done while working at home than I do in the office.

Retirement for me is a long ways out but I’m sure glad I started saving in my early 20’s.

Rip feel free to message me if your interested in Sales again or there is always a need for Customer Success Managers too at my work.
