Walmart

Most probably have a love/hate relationship with Walmart but mine just shifted to all hate. An employee followed me out of the store to confirm my receipt vs items in my hands thereby treating me like a shoplifter. I’m done with them for a long time.
Insulting as it was, if they have that bad of a crime problem where they are chasing down older people for phantom crimes then its probably not safe to shop there anyhow. Protect your family. Avoid shopping at walmrt.

I quit shopping there when I saw how there employees treated produce.

Shoplifting and employee theft is the cause of the most profit loss from all retail stores.

That seems odd that an employee would actually follow you out of the store and then engage in investigative behavior. Many retail procedures restrict employee involvement and some even specifically tell employees they cannot follow potential shoplifters out of the store. I suppose it depends on the store’s policies. I only go to Wal-Mart when they have something that no one else has. Which isn’t very often. On a similar note – I HATE that Sam’s Club checks your receipt and counts all your items before you can leave the store. Seriously, what is that?? A big time-waster if you ask me. There’s usually a line to leave the @#$% store. It’s ridiculous.

The main reason I still shopped there can easily be replaced by Mills.

It seems they do random checks not based only on appearance and demeanor of customer. With that being said it’s really the only grocery store here in Zimmerman so I’m stuck with them. I have been pulled aside twice in the past 6 months on my way out the door to look my reciept over I did ask the. At that point and they claimed its random not based on anything with appearance. If it’s on anything else I need to re-evaluate my appearance considering the people I watched walk by while they stopped me haha. I’ve never seen them Follow someone outside to check them That’s odd to say the least.

Since this is the first time its happened to me in my life then yes, I am. No great loss. I never really liked going there anyways. Though I will admit once you are inside they have an impressive variety.

Years ago I had an employee from Pier One Imports run out the door after me, and jump on my back. That was a mistake, and he paid the price. I never went back that store ever again.

That’s my normal store. I only went to wlmrt for engine oil because they have the closest best price. Like I said Mills will work just fine for that.
