    Had a decent day. saw about ten hens and three roosters, we ended up with one. would have had the others but they got up a little far ahead. nice day to be out tho

    atleast you saw some birds i didn’t see a single pheasant but i saw 4 snipes

    The group I was supossed to go with did not fire the guns! Unbelievable with the amount of birds I heard was in the area! But glad I went to Brainard to pull in docks and lifts instead!

    Chappy, I bet even you can catch a walleye on Gull right now. It’s to bad that you had to work.

    I took my two newbies with me on Saturday. We were hunting in the Litchfield area and them went to my family farm in New Richland. We saw 15 hen and 5 rooster for the day. We should have had one or two but I let my son try to shoot them. We had a great time. Here is a picture of my two very happy newbies after the days hunt. We hope to get back out there next weeked to see if we can get one or two for dinner as there are may birds out there. Mybe this time they will not run so much.
