With the NWT starting this week on Lake Sharpe does anybody know will the You Tube series return for season 3? If so will they follow the same guys?

For Professional fishing this was pretty well done I thought.

I can’t stand to watch most tournament style fishing but this was a well done show for sure ! Loved the Pool 3-4 coverage. Hope the new season comes soon .

John Hoyer was on the Jason Mitchell podcast a little while back and said there will be a season 3 and they want to expand on what they started.

I agree I like it as well.
Watching the NWT videos is bland.

To be fair all tournaments are boring except for Bass, those guys have figured it out. Although watching the video screens will take care of good TV for them also.

It’s incredibly well done. From the camera work, to the editing, to the music and showing how much work it actually is. Showing when things don’t go well is so much different than the pitching of how great product x is in most fishing content is truly refreshing. The polished product pushing and pimping gets so boring.

I stopped halfway through season 1, a little bit of Max Wilson goes too far for my liking.

It’s a great production. Sounds like season 3 will be similar with one new twist that will be entertaining to watch.

I didn’t like him either at first – but don’t mind him now . Let’s his haters motivate him . Those boys can run a livescope that’s for certain .

He was a piece of work a couple years ago when I had a run in on the water on p4 with him and his partner. He wasn’t pleased we were fishing his spot. And he let us know, then blew the area out so we quit fishing it. Lost all respect for him not that I had any. Maybe that’s the reason he has haters.

Wait, people pay to watch guys catch walleyes? I fish for them more than bass or muskies nowadays but they’re hardly sport fish. Finding them is fun but when you find the magical wet sock it’s highly underwhelming.

It was me a buddy and my kid who was like 9 at the time. He was mad at us, but he never once boated up to us and had a civil conversation, just seen my buddy land a good fish and he was swearing and being a dink, then tried to blow the spot out. It was pretty sad actually.

“His spot”?! What a dink! Was it during a tourney or something? IDK if I would want to be out there fishing with all that chaos going on, but as you know you did nothing wrong.

I have ZERO tolerance for that kind of **** . . Ive had a guide question me whered you hear about this spot howd you find out about it ? There isnt hardly any secrets on Pool 4 if you spend enough time on it .

I often wonder how they treat the co anglers – could you imagine botching a net job ? I bet that doesnt make the cuts ha.

I had a Pool 4 tournament guy tell me he was “there first” and it was “his spot”

I wasn’t fishing the tournament and his “spot” was all of Central Point (a community hole that’s no secret) on a Saturday morning in June on Pool 4. I was probably spotlocked ~150 yards from him and never moved but he steered over to me to have the interaction. I told him within an hour there will be 15 boats here, so rather than complain about the one other boat a football field away he should probably spend his time fishing. I looked up the results later that night to see he weighed in 2 fish on the day. We had a limit that morning by 9:30 and were home by 10:00am.

I’ve heard a similar story about him a few different places, never met him but sounds like a real entitled a$$. Which is usually a good indication he’s a “pro fisherman” off of Daddy’s money.

I have three buddies that fished as co-anglers in at least one event each last year, none signed up for this year due to either being treated poorly by particular pros or got extremely bored; mainly due to fishing with pros that only had one livescope in the boat and expected the co to fish out of the back of the boat, not getting any insight or experience next to the pro watching the screen. Glorified net men at that point.

I thought the same thing. I’ve watched 1st season and 2 episodes of the 2nd. I found it entertaining, but I did feel bad for the co’s. Was it common before live scope to have the pro set the hook and have the co just reel in “their” fish? Seems like a weird rule to allow that.
