Reel Size Help – Pflueger Purist/Shimano Sedona

I want to purchase a Pflueger Purist reel. What model would be similar in size to a Shimano Sedona 1000 series?
The 1330, 1335, or 1340 Purist. Any help greatly appreciated.

Try size 20. Big fan of the purists and owned them since they came out up here.

I use on a 36″ rod on Lake Winnipeg for large walleyes and need one similar to the Sedona 1000. I think they made a 1320 and 1325

The 20 size pflueger are the same size as a 500 shimano. I think the 25 size are closest to the 1000’s.

I don’t see a size 20 in the Purist on the Pflueger website so I am confused. Is it possible the 1325 is the same as the 500?

The size 20 on the President series is comparable to the size 500. The size 25 on the President series is comparable to the size 1000.

I would say the 1325 Purist would be comparable to the size 1000.

No, they only currently offer 20 sized reels in presidents and trions.

The purist are on sale for $39 at cabelas, but the smallest they have is the 30 size.

Compare line weight/yd capacities for the spool information. That should help you pick a similar size. 140/8/lb, 210/6lb, etc.
