Precision Trolling App Questions

I looked back on past threads and did not see these questions answered.

I have the trolling app for Iphone and am wondering:

What is the base speed they use to calculate depths. I think it is 2 mph is that correct or no? Seems my baits run shallower than what the app says so I am thinking I am off on that.

Second is does the 50+2 option extra or come with a standard purchase of a crank bait as I don’t see that option pop up when I am using the app.

I run the recommended 10 lb XT on my rods and have calibrated them to within a foot or so.

I appreciate the feedback and have an email into the company website. I will let you know what they say but thought I would shoot something out in the meantime.

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure you take into account for the location of your transducer. Mine is 12 inches below the surface of the water. So when doing lead core I remember that is 25 foot not 24 like the graph readers. The angle of your rod can affect it too, straight up and down is going to require more line than if the tip is a foot off the water.
Just need to play with it and just it.

I am using planer boards so that should not be an issue but the location of transducer is a good point. Thanks for the quick replies on the 2 mph. I will continue to play with this in hopes it puts a few more fish in the boat.

The company got back to me and they do not have the 50 + 2 data for Flicker Shad #5 but it is coming soon.
