I’m gonna be making some feeders out of some kind of metal, I’ll fix them. Thinking stove pipe stuff??

That could work. Keeping them away from trees so they can jump to them. Put a slinky around the post so as they try to climb up it goes down. Make for entertainment if nothing else.

Heard my first Oriole today. Never saw it, but not mistakable!

I was just outside for a breath of fresh air and saw two in our old oak tree. Male and female.

Last year we had four pairs hanging around. And Capt’n…. I love their call.

Awesome! Seems like most here are seeing them around. I havent seen one, but have heard them every day since this weekend. I need to get a feeder for them. I dont currently have one, but I can makeshift something for them.

The one I saw in the tree hasn’t been back since. But my 2 pair of thrushes showed up yesterday. I get confused by thrushes and thrashers but whatever they are they’ve been back for a lot of years, and have younguns every year
